DISCUSSION IN CLASS
 

• Identify: Look at the map. What do you see?

• Make it personal: Where would you like to travel? Why?

• Play: pull out a note from a hat. Say one fact about each place\region\continent.
  the notes: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia/ Oceania (optional:  replace with names of states/countries)

• Predict: Where do Jews live? How do you know?
  Analyze: What can you learn from this map? Write students' answers on the board,
  have them think and classify the facts into different categories (HOTS)

• play: pull out a note from the hat. The notes: say one thing that surprised you; say one thing about Jewish presence in one location; pick one Jewish community and ask a specific question; ask a general question about the information on this map;
